Jubilee Academy, Photographer in Columbia, SC

This past week I managed to get myself and my darling little girl out of the house for a bit to photograph an event for a really special organization, Jubilee Academy.  Please click on the link to learn more about it... you don't want to miss out!  Jubilee Academy was given an old church building to use as their very own and this was their big open house to share their new building and their student's accomplishments with the community.  They had a great turnout.  As you can see from some of the images, the place was packed.  The halls and classrooms were filled with all kinds of projects and drawings that the students have been working on, and the students were all smiles and so proud to have drawn such a crowd.
A large portion of my friends have been partnering with Jubilee Academy for a little over a year to work with the families and children of an impoverished neighborhood and provide them with mentoring, tutoring, friendships, and love... lots of love.  Due to being pregnant and now having a newborn, I haven't been able to spend very much time with this organization.  So, I am glad that I was able to contribute my photography this past week.   Please check out Jubilee Academy's website and if you are interested, get involved!  They could always use some more volunteers.

~Lindsey

Everyone was greeted with a sweet smile.
See the excitement?
This is Sandy, the Executive Director of Jubilee Academy... an incredible woman!
