Caroline & Ryan - Columbia, SC Children's Photographer

This was one of the most fun sessions I've ever had!  These kids were awesome!  We played, laughed, jumped, told jokes, and climbed trees.  These kids were up for anything.  The best part about it was how well this brother and sister duo got along.  This would not have happened when my brother and I were their age.  All we did was tease and tattle.  Thankfully we have grown out of that (well sort of : ).

I hope you enjoy the images!

Multitude Monday | Columbia, SC Photographer

Today I am thankful for...

Being so busy with work... downloading, culling, editing, uploading, returning emails, placing orders, bookkeeping, etc. that I don't have time to write a lengthy  post : )

One thing that I am extremely thankful for is the wonderful Easter celebration that I had with family over this past weekend.  We are all unworthy and undeserving of God's love and grace, yet he freely gives it above and beyond what we can ask or imagine.

Happy Monday!

Parker & Davis - Columbia, SC Children's Photographer

Oh where do I even start with these two!?!  These adorable boys are my nephews and I've been dying to get them in front of my camera for a session!  Scheduling a session has been prolonged because we lived about an hour and a half from each other... just enough to make it difficult to schedule.  Thankfully, we now all live in Columbia.  I love having family nearby!
These two boys are hilarious.  Parker is a witty, silly little flirt with about 10 girlfriends (including me) to which he refers to as his "love-nuts."  He uses the vocabulary of a kid way beyond his age and is about as curious as they come.  Davis on the other hand is a little more reserved, but don't let him fool you... he is a prankster and a clown at heart.  Girls aren't so much his thing, but he's got a major sweet tooth and LOVES candy.  It's probably better off that way : )
I love that Emerson has these two guys to grow up with.  Every time they see her they ask if she can play and then are amazed that she is still small and not big like them yet.  She'll be running around with them before I know it (tear).

Enjoy the images!

Multitude Monday, Photographer in Columbia, SC

So much to be thankful for this beautiful Monday morning...

~ hearing my sweet baby girl giggle (it happened spontaneously one day and I've been working my hardest to get another out of her : )
~ a visit from friends, who are also moms, and their support, encouragement, and advice that they gave me
~ a beautiful wedding for an adorable couple on Saturday, can't wait to share the images with you
~ the rain coming to a stop just in time for the guests to arrive and the festivities to begin
~ My husband and baby girl made it all day Saturday without me
~ E-mealz, seriously if you don't know about this, you need to know about this.  If you are like me and you really dislike planning meals, then you MUST check this out.  It saves me so much time, brain power, and money : )
~ Southernsavers, I've recently been learning the art of couponing.  I've tried it in the past and hated it and seen little-to-no savings.  Well, Southernsavers makes it easy and streamlined for a former coupon-hater like me to now love the game of seeing how much I can save with coupons (yes, you may laugh at me).  But you might stop laughing, if you knew that I left a store the other day spending only .79 for a bag of $28 worth of quality, useful items (Dove deodorant, toothbrushes, and candy to name a few : )
~ a delicious dinner last night thanks to my grill master husband
~ all of the exciting session and weddings I have coming up

Happy Monday!

~ Lindsey

P.S.  Stay tuned for images from two recent children's sessions, a bridal session, a few weddings, and a senior session.  And here is a recent shot of my girl...

Multitude Monday, Photographer in Columbia, SC

It's been awhile since I posted one of these, but its not because I haven't had anything to be thankful for.  The sheer busyness of life has kept me from sitting down long enough to focus.  BUT thanks to a horrible cold with fever, chills, and body aches in tow, I have no excuse not to post one today.  So, here is my list:

~ being sick because it allows me to take naps, lay in bed, and stop being busy (that's kinda Pollyana-ish of me isn't it : )
~ a friend who came by to take care of Emerson so that I could nap and rest, and if that wasn't enough, she also brought me medicine
~ medicine : )
~ dinner with friends
~ an up and coming visit with family
~ couples who are older and wiser and willing to mentor and encourage young couples, thank you Cheryl and John
~ a husband is who a selfless provider for our family
~ a recent visit from cousins and an aunt and uncle, its always good to be with family
~ a great session with two adorable little boys... aka my nephews
